An original World War II press photo of a British “Dirty British Coasters Convoy” in the English Channel, flying their own Barrage Balloons against German air attacks.There are 14 British ships in the convoy.
These convoy’s would brave German attacks and move through the English Channel to move food and other materials that England needed to survive. These convoys were often attacked by the Germans. The Photo states in part
