One Bicycle: A 1949 Vintage Skip Tooth Schwinn Admiral Men's Full Size Adult Cruiser Bicycle
UPDATE: See last photo in extras below this description- I have a period correct chainguard included in sale.
Also womens admirals in last photos are not included.  I hope to list those two soon. If anyone would like to buy either thru Ebay/this add as a set w the mens Admiral, I can add it to/raise the price of this here BIN listing.

Ridable currently, but I did not tune it up, so in need of a tune-up. I took it for a really short ride.
Bicycle has no dents in frame. About 3 rather small dents on rim side (see photos). Some rust on chrome, rims. Paint is rough. Original color was red/white. One of the pedals is missing the 2 reflectors and the other pedal has a little corner of rubber torn off (se photos blow this text). Paint flaking and some dents on the fenders (see photos).
The crank, chain and rear cog are skip tooth. Seat is not original and some years later (50s).
It seems that the rims were possibly painted gold many years back.  Also red pin stripe stickers added to the gold rims.

Bike was painted black by previous owner, was red and white.
Tires:
hold air, are as old as the bicycle. They do not feel dry, but I can see little cracks throughout, use current tires at your own risk. For everyday riding buyer should expect to replace the tires. the tires are two different brands, but same size, color and psi. Different tread, but they match enough imo.
