Paddythepeddler picked these photos up from an estate in the city of Portsmouth, England, back in 2012. For those who don't know, Portsmouth has for centuries been the heart of the Royal Navy.
Seems likely this is from WWII and possibly taken in Malta or Gibraltar. The Royal Navy had a very strong presence in both of those places and took plenty of casualties relieving the siege of Malta and in other places in the Med.
FAIRLY GOOD SURVIVOR CONDITION. Slightly roller and one has damage to a corner. Not too much fading. Note glare in one of the photos when it was snapped -- that's not fading or damage.
