Vintage 1930’s Large Wood Sailing Model Yacht “Nova” in very good vintage condition. The model yacht has an emblem stamped on the deck stating “Navigable” Made in France. The yacht is 44 1/2” tall, 40” long and 6 1/2” wide. The Yacht has 4 masts/beams snd 5 sails. The main sail has an American flag on it and an insignia “MFP”. Virtually all the roping has been replaced. The sails are very fragile and do have some tears as shown in the pictures, Which only adds to the patina of this piece. The hull, deck, masts and beams are in very good condition. The boats hull does show some chips in the paint from over the years. The keel has a very heavy weight at the bottom marked 9 which does serve as a base for the boat to stand upright. The yacht will be disassembled for shipping and will be the new owners responsibility to reassemble. Beautiful old piece from the past.
