    Description

This listing is for a complete rug hooking kit based upon an original design by Sharon Perry. This kit which is suitable for the beginner or experienced rug hooker comes with the following:
wool fabric strips cut in #8 (1/4")
a color photo of the finished piece
pattern drawn on a lovely cotton monks cloth sealed at the edges to prevent fraying
easy to follow rug hooking instructions
binding to finish it off once you have it hooked
The only other items you will need are a rug hook and a frame to put your piece in. I started off with a quilting hoop and did several rugs on that before spending more money and getting a floor frame. I think you need to determine whether you like a hobby before spending a ton of money on it.
As for the hook I have solid hardwood and steel hooks listed for .00 but you can choose the option to add one to your kit for just .50 when you make your purchase.
This kit when completed measures 8 X 16 inches and would make a great wall hanging, table centerpiece, chair pad, or primitive pillow top. The small sunflower is hooked with a dyed mustard, Dorr  bumble bee yellow and a lovely mixed brown & rust plaid. The side posies are hooked with dyed purple, mixed mauves ombre stripe and yellow. For the background you will receive an assortment of mixed greens including over dyed, hand dyed, ombre stripes and plaids which are hooked at random.
SHIPPING: For international buyers postage over payments due to combined shipping will be refunded before your items are mailed out.   Any questions please email me and thanks for taking the time to look at my item.
