One of a kind MASTERPIECE EDITION from SIDESHOW TOYS - PLANET OF THE APES THE LAWGIVER  STATUE - 2005 SDCC EXCLUSIVE BLOODY VISION/VERSION.  This Museum quality statue was a 2005 San Diego Comic Con Exclusive.  With an very small edition size for the Standard Lawgiver Statue, this "bloody vision" version was limited to 100.  From what I've been told by Sideshow Toys Retailors, the fact this item was limited to just 100 worldwide makes it one of the rarest collectibles ever produced from this Award Winning and Sci-Fi Cult favorite Movie Franchise!  One of the most memorable scenes from Beneath the Planet of the Apes is The Lawgiver Statue, an iconic image of the first and greatest Ape of all. Through a series of ancient scrolls, the Lawgiver warned Dr. Zaius and the Ape population of the evils of mankind.This polystone representation stands an impressive 18.5" tall and is authentic in every detail to the statue from the film. The "bloody" version has the Lawgiver covered in blood.  This item was only available for a few minutes from Sideshow Collectibles as it sold out almost immediately at San Diego Comic Con in 2005.  It has long gone since then!  I've seen the Standard Issue of the Lawgiver statue, selling between 0-00, but never the bloody version.  And I have been buying and selling on eBay for 23+ years. Once I sell it, it will be GONE forever.
From the photos, you can see the box was damaged during shipping.  The statue from the attached photographs is in great shape.  Those photographs are of the exact statue I'm selling in this listing.  I am not a big retailer.  I am a retired collector who is selling items from my collection so I can afford to eat.  I am 66 years old and retired.  I live in Florida, and you can imagine that Social Security does not pay enough to senior citizens to live and keep up their collections.  I am literally selling this item to buy groceries.  But my loss is your gain.  Get this very RARE and VALUABLE Statue at a good price.  I do have a handful of Sideshow Ape figures for sale as well.  Imagine what kind of hit this statue and few figures would make under the Christmas Tree.  I'm sorry but I cannot accept returns.
