British "Gun Girls" Of The Indian Navy
"At the Indian Navy's Gunnery School at Karachi, members of the Naval Wing of the Woman's Auxiliary Corps (India) assist the staff in training naval officers and ratings. During practice firing against targets towed by aircraft, they help ensure that guns are properly trained and laid, and at the end of the "shoot" they provide gun's crews a complete chart from which the accuracy of each shot can be told.
