    RARE Planet of the Apes General Ursus Lifesize Bust - Created by Famed Special Effects/Makeup Artist and Actor Arnold Gargiulo. If you’re a Planet of the Apes fan, this bust is definitely for you. This bust was not produced for public sale. Very few were created by Gargiulo, probably less then 5. You will never likely find another one of these on the open market. Definitely a premier Planet of the Apes collectible. They were created in the early 1990’s. The few that were created , were only given to close associates of Gargiulo. The bust measures 22” tall and 22” wide. The hair on Ursus appears to be authentic hair. The piece display extremely well. The condition is overall very nice. The bust is signed on the back of his neck “ARNOLD”.
