    Description

This skein contains about 450 yds of natural gray CVM fingering weight yarn.  California Variegated Mutant (CVM) sheep are a Livestock Conservancy breed and are considered endangered.  They are a color variation of the Romeldale breed.  CVMs provide wool that is fine and soft, This  yarn was worsted spun so it is smooth.  It is very stretchy and It knits well using a range of knitting needles from 1-5 (US).  The second photo is of samples knitted on #5 US needles and 1-1/2 US needles. The third photo shows they skeins after dyeing with natural materials.
It will be 'next to skin soft' and show stitch patterns well.  This yarn is tightly spun so the plies should not come apart while knitting.
It also takes dyes well as the gray is not too dark.
