Exceptional! Vintage Hand Painted Black TOLE Heavy Metalware Lamp Shade

Admittedly, I'm
quite picky (insert eye-rolling husband mumbling, "Understatement!" here)
and I tend to
notice things others might not.  With my listings,
I'd always rather
under-promise

over-deliver

Nobody likes the
unpleasant
surprise

and then opening the package to find the item is
completely
different than what the l
isting suggested.

A rare listing for the sale of one beautiful and vintage tole metal lamp shade.
This stunning tole lamp shade is hand painted predominantly black, with a
goldish-tan
border
pattern painted at both the top and bottom edges.
The design on the body of the shade
appears in three positions so as not
to have any bare
spots when viewing it from various vantage points.  It
features 3 cranberry colored orbs, resembling
fruit, surrounded by green
and
goldish-tan flourishes which resemble
leaves.  In the center of the
orbs is a small cross-hatch and dot pattern.
The exact age of this shade is unknown, but is certainly
vintage.  It is in
exceptional condition with just a few
places where the paint appears to
be marred; but upon close inspection
it is difficult to say if these occurred
during the finishing process
or after.  Either way, they seem to lend
additional character to the
shade and do not detract in any way (IMO).

This piece is in excellent vintage condition.  As with all vintage items,
there are minor imperfections
consistent
with normal aging.  Upon
inspection I have found no damage of note and colors remain in
excellent
condition.
