You are bidding on an Original Black and White 8x10 Still from the classic 1971 science-fiction film ESCAPE FROM THE PLANET OF THE APES! This a sentimental shot featuring Zira and Cornelius in the circus with Armando, as he places the St. Francis medal on Baby Milo.
This Original B/W 8x10 Still was printed for the publicity department to use for PR reasons in promoting the film, and also for display at movie theaters which showed the film in its original release. This 8x10 Still is from the Press Kit that was sent to newspapers and magazines back in the day, and as such contains a caption on the bottom of the Still (see closer shot). Stills from the Press Kits are a little harder to come by, and will add a little more backstory to your collection! I have owned this beautiful still for almost 50 years, and now, it is time to find this collectible piece a new home - preferably with a rabid POTA fan! And, since I have been asked to give people a shot at the bidding, I won't put a BUY IT NOW option on these pieces, so everyone gets a chance!
This Original Black and White 8x10 Still is in Very Good Condition, with no creases or bent corners (see photo) And we are a non-smoking home, so there are no bad L.A. Zoo smells attached to any of our items!
We are starting the bidding at .50. This piece would be a very welcome addition to any APES still collection!
