HOW DOES CHIP TO TUNING WORK?
ProRacing Chip Box Digital VP is a digital device connected in the engine compartment.
The device is programmed for use with diesel engines equipped with rotary pump VP37 - cars from Volkswagen Group (VAG). Equipped with an additional self-regulation system - rotary potentiometer. The set includes dedicated wires with Plug & Play plugs. The device is prepared for mounting in the engine compartment, on a suitable sensor on the fuel pump. As a result, we modify the data transmitted between the control computer (ECU) and the corresponding sensor, including
fuel injection, fuel charge, turbocharger boost, air feed rate, engine speed, throttle position, injector opening time.

Should the device be constantly plugged in?
Yes, the device must be constantly plugged into the indicated plug. When you disconnect the device the car returns to its factory settings.
Should I turn the engine off before adjusting?
Yes. To let ChipBox ProRacing® VP37 device work properly the engine should be turned off each time before adjusting. Then we can be sure that the modification is going to impact ECU correctly in a car.
Can the chip be used for other car?
The device is dedicated to all cars from the VAG group with a VP37 rotary injection pump and will only work with them. Remember in these cars there may be 8 or 10 pin plugs.
What happens when I disconnect the chip?
After the disconnection of the chip, the ECU returns to its default parameters.
