BRITISH WALRUS PATROL SEAPLANES ON AIRCRAFT CARRIER DECK- 1941

Description

Scarce early original vintage silver gelatin Type l first generation photograph shows three Walrus seaplanes on the deck of a British aircraft carrier. One plane has just come back from patrol and two others are waiting for their assignments.
This is not a copy or reproduction but a Type 1 first generation photograph developed from the original negative and dated 1/2/41.
Photograph measures 7 x 9 inches and is in excellent condition with no bends, tears, or creases and is very sharp and has strong tones with good contrast and clarity.
