    French brigadier general visiting a british anti-aircraft camp
    Photograph taken in April 1940, in one of the positions of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF), somewhere in the military zone, in France.
    The range-finder on the picture looks like to a Barr & Stroud model used by the BEF. Note the protective covers for the optics.
    A vintage silver print, released for publication purposes in french newspapers and magazines.
    A typewritten caption printed in french is attached to the print, including a censorship visa. Here is the translation:
    "With the British troops in France. A French general visits a British sector in the Army zone."
