    I listed that the shades were made in 1920 to the 40's but they could be older.
    These understated substantial glass shades came from a prestigious Indianapolis neighborhood of mostly 1920's homes in Indianapolis called "Meridian Kessler".  You can look it up to see homes from the area.  The neighborhood is anchored by a 2-mile row of magnificent 1920's Mansions listed on the National Register of Historic Places and built with post Industrial Revolution money.   I know the homes in the neighborhood well because I lived there for 20 years before I bought a condo.
