    Description

    Vintage WW II photos of:
    Big Ben and
    Hampton Courts Palace.
    The sepia photographs measures approximately 8 1/2" x 10" for the Hampton Courts photo.
    The large Big Ben photo measures approximately 5 3/4" x 8" and the smaller duplicate photo with a darker print measures approx 2 1/4" x 3 1/2".
    The photos were from a US army soldier stationed in High Wycombe during the war and are presumed to be from around 1944 -1945. They are a display of life during the WW II era from the soldier's perspective.
    The photos have the original pencil writing on the back to identify the scenes. See picture.
