The Commemorative Edition Camaro includes all the technologically advanced engineering features that made the Z28 Camaro Motor Trend magazine’s "Car of the Year."

Ground Effects technology, similar in theory to current Formula One practice, which literally pulls the car to the surface in some driving and road conditions.

A 62-degree windshield rake, which helps the Z28 achieve a .369 coefficient of drag, even with downtorce-inducing air dam and spoiler.
■
Totally redesigned suspension, front (MacPherson-strut-based) and rear (coils, trailing links, torque tube and Panhard rod), that enabled the Z28 to generate .8g-range cornering
power on GM skid pads.
■ A healthy 305 CID version of the smallblock V8 can be equipped with optional new dual Cross-Fire fuel injection. (Not available in Calif.)
