Description

New reproduction of the  1874 Dyer pattern pouch issued primarily to Cavalry for carrying carbine ammunition.  Interior is lined in real shearling like originals.
The 1874 pattern pouch was meant to be an improvement over the similar pouch adopted in 1872
This reproduction is based on photos and measurements of an original from the Doug McChristian Collection at Fort Concho.
Measures 7" by 5", with 2 1/2" belt loops.
